In the 2023-24 NHL season, commissioner Gary Bettman banned players from wearing cause- and community-based apparel on the ice. Despite the controversial decision, this didn’t stop the Vancouver Canucks from dedicating special game nights to celebrate underrepresented communities in our sport.

We partnered with artists in the community to create specialty logos, featured on jerseys, t-shirts, caps, hoodies, pucks, and plastered all over Rogers Arena on these special game nights. Ban or not, we didn’t let it stop us from promoting #hockeyisforeveryone.
